Attività di ricerca

L’attività di ricerca, prevalentemente clinica, si è sviluppata a partire dal 1985 secondo alcuni filoni (come dimostrato anche dalle pubblicazioni scientifiche nazionali e internazionali) così schematizzabili: 

Nuove metodiche nel trattamento delle neoplasie benigne e maligne del distretto cervico-cefalico mediante ablazione chirurgica e ricostruzione con lembi locali e a distanza in associazione a nuovi protocolli di chemio e radioterapia.

Tale indirizzo di ricerca è stato anche supportato da una borsa di studio triennale messa a disposizione da AIRC (Associazione Italiana Ricerca Cancro) e i risultati sono confluiti nelle seguenti pubblicazioni:

In questo campo è il coordinatore di uno studio clinico multicentrico supportato da Straumann Institute (Basilea – Svizzera) dal titolo: “Maxillary sinus grafting with Bio-Oss® or Straumann® Bone Ceramic followed by delayed placement of Straumann® dental implants: A comparative histomorphometric and clinical study”. Iniziato 2012.
